Waterside Whippy started with a simple idea: bring proper, old-school ice cream van joy back to the Waterside — done properly, done cleanly, done with a smile.

Darrell's a familiar face around Hythe and the surrounding villages, and you'll usually find him chatting away to the queue as he swirls. He takes real pride in the little things: a spotless van, a perfect 99, turning up exactly when he says he will.

And that cleaner, greener van? That's Darrell all over — wanting to do the right thing without making a song and dance about it. (Your guests just get to enjoy ice cream without the diesel fumes.)
